Saturday April 3

Well, we had quite the time trying to get to the dunes Friday. After 2 hours of driving our truck decided to start missing so we pulled into a parts store. We thought maybe a change of plugs and wires would do the trick. To make a long story short, it still wasn’t running right after the change. So, we decided to head back home and jump in my mountaineer and head back up. We finally got up to the comfort inn around 7 PM that night. Keep in mind we left the first time at 5 AM.

After all the trouble we had on Friday, Saturday morning turned out to be pretty good. However, it did decide to start raining around noon. Despite the weather there were a lot of people there. In fact the DNR had to turn a couple trailers away because the parking lot was full. Here are the pictures I took. Not too many cause of the rain.
